Terms of Service

By using A11yAgen — the marketing site at a11yagen.com, the WordPress plugin, or the connected backend service — you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.

What A11yAgen does

A11yAgen scans WordPress sites for accessibility issues against WCAG, Section 508, ADA, and EN 301 549 standards, and (on paid tiers) generates AI-suggested fixes for your review. It is a tool for site owners to assess and improve accessibility.

What A11yAgen is not

• Not a guarantee of legal compliance. No automated tool can fully determine whether a site complies with the ADA, WCAG, or any other standard. A11yAgen helps you find and fix issues — it cannot certify compliance.
• Not legal advice. Nothing on this site or in the product is legal advice. If you need an opinion on your legal exposure, talk to a lawyer.
• Not a manual audit. Automated scanning catches a meaningful portion of accessibility issues but not all of them. Some issues require human judgment.
• Not an accessibility overlay. A11yAgen never modifies your site without your explicit approval.

Your responsibilities

• You're responsible for the content of your WordPress site, including any changes you approve through A11yAgen.
• You're responsible for reviewing AI-generated fix suggestions before approving them. Approved fixes are applied to your site under your authority.
• You agree not to abuse the service: no scanning sites you don't own or have permission to scan, no attempting to break or overload the backend, no reselling without permission.
• You'll keep your license key and account credentials secure.

AI-generated fixes

Pro-tier fix suggestions are produced by AI models. They're based on best-effort interpretation of accessibility rules and your site's HTML. They are suggestions, not guaranteed-correct edits. You are the final reviewer. Once you approve a fix, it becomes part of your content and is your responsibility to maintain.

Subscriptions & billing

• The Free tier is free. The Pro tier is $500 per WordPress site per month, billed via a third-party payment provider acting as our Merchant of Record.
• You can cancel anytime. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
• Fixes you've already approved before cancellation remain on your site — they belong to you.
• Refunds follow our Refund Policy.

Service availability

We work to keep A11yAgen running reliably, but we don't promise uninterrupted service. The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We may update, change, or discontinue features at our discretion, with reasonable notice for paid features.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent allowed by law, A11yAgen is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. This includes — but is not limited to — claims of non-compliance, lost revenue, or third-party legal action against your site. Total liability for any claim is capped at the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

Termination

You can stop using A11yAgen at any time. We can suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or abuse the service. On termination, your scan data is deleted within 30 days as described in the Privacy Policy.

Changes

If we materially change these terms, we'll update the date above and email anyone with an active account. Continued use of the service after the change means you accept the new terms.
